Cheraman Masjid Kodungallur,Thrissur

 The mosque has an ancient oil lamp which always burns and which is believed to be more than a thousand years old. People of all religions bring oil for the lamp as offering. This is one of the few mosques in Kerala which allow entry for people of other religions.

Guruvayur temple,Thrissur

The Krishna temple in the town of Guruvayoor in Kerala is one of the five   famousKrishna/Vishnu temples in India. . Of course there are many other famous ones of Vishnu as well as of Krishna but these are considered to be the most popular. Even though the idol in Guruvayoor is that of Vishnu it is still known as a Krishna temple since the boy Krishna is always said to be running around incognito in the temple precincts.
