How to reach(Get updated information about VAICON 2012 via Twitter or Facebook) The venue is IMA Convention Center, Cochin which is next to the important landmark Kaloor Jawaharlal Nehru International Sports Stadium, Kaloor, Cochin. The nearest airport is Cochin International Airport, Nedumbassery(CIAL) which has connecting flights to almost all continents with all major airlines operating direct lines. There is also excellent connectivity to all Indian cities. Please contact your travel agent to book early to get the best discount.
Airport : From airport to the venue is 20KM and is best done by taxi which is available at the airport (Pre paid taxi). Our travel agent will be at the air port for assistance if you contact him by e-mail (Link).
Railway : Cochin is connected to two major railway stations; Ernakulam North and Ernakulam Junction (aka Ernakulam South). Both are with in 3 km distance to the venue.
Taxi : Pre paid taxis are available from the railway station to the venue.
By Road : Cochin is well connected to major cities in South India by Luxury coaches. Please contact your tour operator for details.
Book your tickets and travel itinerary well in advance through your local travel operator. Local Cochin hotel accommodation can be done by you directly through net and avail discount at approved hotels Quoting Vaicon2012. Any additional travel assistance can be done by official travel tour agents. Please do remember that Cochin is an important tourist destination and has all the problems associated with it ie too many things to see and soak in and too little time. The best way to make your trip cost effective and memorable is to contact your local professional sales representative to link up with his Cochin colleague and facilitate the tour. Roy Varghese (the Shark) strongly advises you to make your travel plans well in advance as Jauary and February is top tourist season for European tourists. Accomodation unless booked in advance means more money for spot bookings. Please follow IMC guidelines while at the conference.
